Okay, so I looked at episode descriptions today, and it turns out, yes, Toph was with them at Hama's (which I remember now, because of when her and Sokka talk to that old guy).

I think I'm going to do this thing a lot like how the show does it, as in show what the gAang is doing and then show what Zuko and Iroh are doing while they're still separate.

I have to rewatch Zuko Alone, because I only sort of remember it. Then, in Bitter Work I'll have Zuko get curious about the potential for other non-firebending techniques and to possibly read up on the traditions and philosophies of the other benders and start making his own moves. That would be cool, no? Appa's Lost Days, Lake Laogai, The Earth King, and The Crossroads of Destiny I think I'll keep pretty much the same.

After that, I'm debating if Zuko should run away and join the Avatar after the events of The Beach or after learning about The Avatar and the Firelord. If I go The Beach route, Mai will go with him. If The Avatar and the Firelord, he will just sneak off in the middle of the night. I'm thinking I like that one better, but I'm not for sure because I love Mai so much... Idk.

But anyway. That's what I'm thinking. And there will be so much angst. And it will be glorious.

Okay, so I'm doing a 14 Days of Valentine's thing, I've decided. Much like the 25 Days of Christmas that ABC Family does, there is a different story for every day leading up to the holiday. In order to catch up I'm doing February 1 through 6 all at once, and then a little short one for every day until Valentine's Day. This year the benefiting pairing is Superman/Batman.

I wanted to do all of these in all newspaper articles, but that didn't work out unfortunately. Most of it will still be in news media though, with three so-far planned character point of view days. I have all the days planned for (unless I throw one out) except for day seven. Of course, because that's tomorrow, you know. Any ideas are welcome!

For February 1, I made up a journalist for the Daily Planet because the article didn't seem like something Lois would write, and Cat's only a columnist, right? Idk...

Jindovan/Kaly drabble. I'm pretty sure they might not even be mentioned in the book at all, but I really want people to know them. Kaly might be one of my favorite Gods in the whole 'verse...

Jindovan's job is keeping perfect balance. There must always be just as much bad as there is good, as much death as there is birth, as much black as there is white.

Kaly calls him Jin; he is the only one who does. Sometimes it bothers Jindovan that there's not an even number of people who do, but then Kaly comes around with his bright blonde hair and his swirling, confusing blue eyes. To humans, they're stressful: what should they decide to see - ice or midnight or sky or ocean? Kaly is the God of Choices.

Kaly calls him Jin, kisses him sweetly, all lips and all soul. He is the only one who does. Kaly spends far more time on Jindovan than he does on other things, whispers in Jindovan's ear that "some choices are easy." And being with Kaly is easy; it's no sacrifice and all gain.

It is the imbalance of them that makes them balanced; they are Yin and Yang. Jindovan knows every consequence of every cosmic shift. He knows what would happen if he lost Kaly.

How could the world possibly remain standing when the very God of Balance lacks his equilibrium, stumbles, and falls?

I have 821 words of poetry, 3057 words of prose, and 3878 words total. Yay! some more.

I also got a Iolynian marriage ceremony, between a man and a woman, worked out. In this society when a man and a woman marry, the woman then owns the man. The man continues to be her property until such time as they reach perfection as a couple; Ardce does not own Jularian because they are ideal, but pretty much all other wedded women own their husbands. I don't know what I'll do for man/man or woman/woman marriages yet. Anyway, have a description of Iolynian marriage in poetry:

There is NO DIVORCE. Once you are married, you're married, the end. However, open marriages are not unheard of nor all that unusual. Jure and Mahanaio have an open marriage, in which Jure can be intimate with other woman while 'Naio is away in the mountains as long as she has his full attention when she's there.

So... I had some really good ideas for pr0nz just strike me right over the head today. And so. Here they are. As well as some stuff that's just been sitting around in my brain for the past oh, year or so. You know. It's whatever.
